Welcome to the PBUS Education Page.

PBUS initiated the National Certified Bail Agent (CBA) program in 1987, the first and the only national certification program especially designed for bail agents. It aims to offer basic industry education to Bail Agents across the nation, with a long term goal of providing a structured professional atmosphere where bail agents can increase and update their knowledge of federal and state bail regulations. An additional goal is to demonstrate to the courts, laws enforcement personnel, and the public that education and professionalism is essential in the bail industry. 

Our instructors are seasoned members who have expertise in the specific areas of the bail industry, They volunteer to instruct these courses, sharing their experiences, as well as letters, forms and fillings that can assist you in accomplishing your goals. Upon completion of the six courses and payment of the graduation fee, each graduate of the program receives CBA diploma-plaque, a pre-approved press release for local distribution and the authority to use the Certified Bail Agent designation.
